BB Doswell Yard Transload Site is located on the BB’s Richmond & Alleghany Division at 10577 Doswell Road, Doswell, VA in Hanover County.  The site is 6 acres and has been cleared for additional development.  Storm drainage has been installed to meet Hanover County’s storm drainage regulations.  The site is an active transload site with a 9,000 s.f. building, truck scales and an office.  There is 700 feet of sidetrack with 10 car spots.  The BB has access to more than 4 miles of additional siding in the vicinity for car storage and car switching.  BB’s Richmond & Alleghany Division has interchanges with CSXT at Doswell, VA and Clifton Forge, VA and with Norfolk Southern at Charlottesville, VA and Waynesboro,VA.
