In most cases, BB freight rates are submitted to either CSX Transportation (CSXT) or Norfolk Southern (NS), the Class I railroads with whom we interchange, and the BB rate is included in the overall rate quoted by the Class I.  BB’s Manager of Sales & Marketing, Brian Freeman can assist with rate requests and help negotiate competitive rates and routes to and from BB stations.

BB also publishes a public tariff which contains mileage-based local rates, optional service fees, and demurrage and storage rates.
